This new hand-held GPS tracker lasts up to 3 years in stand-by mode. Activate and locate only when your asset is missing or stolen. Quad band means this device works worldwide (just like our mapping panel).
Details of the device:
The Enfora Mini MT comes with a belt clip and you can use it as a personal tracker or even place it in a purse or backpack. You can also use it as a Mobile phone and have 2 way conversation or you can phone the unit's number and listen into what is happening around it.
It can be used in any vehicle and does not require installation though you can use the cigarette lighter adapter to keep the device powered when your vehicle is on. The Enfora Mini MT can also be wired into your vehicles power supply and hidden under the dashboard.
Panic Button:
One of the buttons on the Enfora Mini MT acts as a “Panic Button” or SOS button and will send a text message and/or email to pre-defined contacts. The text message will alert the recipient that the "panic" button has been pressed and it will also provide them with the address where the device is.
Programmable Buttons:
The Enfora GPS Tracker has only a few buttons. All of them can be controlled through the set-up commands, but some are pre-set to initial functions. The button on the (other) side is used to call a number that has been pre-programmed. The +/- buttons control the volume.
One of the user defined buttons (the one with the circle) is initially set to create a 2000 meter circular geofence around the current location of the device.
These buttons can be reprogrammed. The call button can be used for dispatching purposes. The “control centre” can send a number to be called to the device (like a pager) and switch the “Call ” LED (the one on the left) into blinking mode. This would tell the person carrying the Enfora GPS Tracker to press the call button at their earliest convenience.
The LEDs are arranged so that they can be seen when the device is worn on the belt. “Call” normally shows either an incoming call or a request to call back, “On” blinks slowly when the device is operational, “GPS” blinks slowly when the receiver has acquired a fix, and “Batt” blinks when the battery level falls below 25%.
Those are just the default settings, each LED can also be reprogrammed to do something completely different.
The grey flap hides the mini-USB charging and data port as well as the 2.5 mm Audio jack. The little hole next to the “Call” LED is where the microphone is.
A belt clip blocks access to the battery cover and prevents accidental opening of the battery door.
The lower side parts of the Enfora Tracker are rubberised for an easier grip. Sadly the device itself is not waterproof - neither the speaker nor the battery compartment are sealed off. So while the device takes some dropping and tumbling with stride, it should not be exposed to rain.

In addition, the device is compatible with Universal Trackers cutting-edge GPS tracking software, which allows users to access readily-available satellite mapping technology or incorporate their own customized maps from anywhere on Earth.
This tiny device can be easily placed or hidden in a vehicle or other asset. It’s deployed with a prepaid SIM card with no monthly recurring phone charges. Programmed for easy and automatic updates even when inactive, the device allows access for a limited time every day to receive needed information.
Battery Life:
The Enfora Mini MT offers outstanding long term battery operation by activating itself automatically for short periods of time (5 minutes) at preprogrammed intervals (usually daily, weekly, or monthly). This allows the GPS device to be located at the first interval after the asset is lost or stolen while conserving battery power at all other times. Battery life is dependant upon selected interval.
Optional Accessories:
Optional extended life battery pack and waterproof case is also available to enhance performance time.
In addition, optional external sensors such as vibration, magnetic, temperature, pressure, or humidity are available and these can be used to activate the device only when needed for battery life up to 3 years.
